But no guilt. Just because you don’t pedal heavy loads across town everyday, doesn’t mean you’re a weak-thighed Earth hater. We can’t all live in Portland, Oregon, the most bike-friendly city in the US.

Then again, maybe it’s a chicken-and-egg scenario: if you come — i.e., ride on sketchy suburban roads built for cars — they will build it — i.e., bike lanes…
