Photos from the Red Rock Rendezvous 2010 climbing festival

Red Rock Rendezvous slackliner

The 2010 Red Rock Rendezvous climbing festival took place back in March, but the photos in the slideshow below – sent in by Amy Jennings at Mountain Gear, the event’s organizer – stand the test of time.

Blue skies, red rocks and happy people. What more could you ask for? Beer, of course, but that’s a given.

The shots were taken by Alasdair Turner and Mason Daly. Click on the lower right button on the slideshow frame to see the photos at full size.

Next year’s festival is scheduled for March 18 to 20.

Also worth checking out is the video below by climber and filmmaker Cedar Wright. After this year’s Rendezvous, Cedar tackled Desert Gold, one of Red Rock’s toughest climbs.
