It’s New England’s Lollapalooza for adventure sports. Nor’easter, a three-day outdoor festival sponsored by Eastern Mountain Sports, takes places this weekend, September 24-26, at Loon Mountain resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
The event will serve as the last stop of the United Bouldering Championships Pro Tour and will host a Union Cycliste Internationale-sanctioned cyclocross race.
A ton of bands are playing over the weekend, including Walkmen, Dr. Dog and a group known as “!!!” (that’s not a typo). New Jersey punk-band,The Gaslight Anthem, headlines.
