
Mountainfilm, the outdoor adventure and conservation film festival held in Telluride, Colorado, will screen several films from this year’s festival at the Lincoln Center from October 22-24, 2010.
In addition to the film screenings, there will be receptions and conversations throughout the weekend with filmmakers and subjects, including top experts and activists from the front lines of the climate movement.
180 Degrees South, a documentary by Jeff Johnson about a trip inspired by the 1968 surfing and climbing expedition of his heroes Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins to Patagonia, is one of the movies scheduled to be screened. Here’s the trailer:
